STS Vol. 38: Music For Speed Traps

Long before 10 Songs, long before even the internet, was the idea of Driving Music. Certain tunes just naturally make one inclined to push the gas pedal down a little further, and takes the corners a little tighter.
So when the time came to compile Vol. 9: Music For Speeding, there was already a wealth of material that I had been listening (and speeding) to for years. But then something odd happened. After assembling them in one place as a comprehensive listening experience, none of them fit. None of them. Some were for instances of internal pacing, for how they began, for how they ended, some just fell victim to better tracks found since.
So here they are, good enough to inspire, but not good enough to endure...
